Urban-folk renegades Kid Hyena have built a reputation as one of the UK’s most electrifying live acts, known for their explosive, high-energy shows, pounding percussion, and infectious positive vibes. Having torn up festival stages across the country – including Glastonbury and Boomtown – the band turn every venue into a moving, stomping celebration. Kid Hyena’s distinctive sound collides traditional folk storytelling with hip-hop energy, alternative edge, and a relentless dancefloor pulse. Deeply hypnotic grooves and basslines underpin soaring harmonies and singalong hooks, punctuated by their signature, body-thumping tap dance performance on stage.

Queer, feminist alt-folk band Dryadic are always looking to collaborate with venues that champion emerging and independent artists, making Tom Browns a venue they've been keen to play for quite some time. Dryadic’s tight, intelligent blend of rootsy folk with a melodic pop flair, heart-soaring vocals, and vibrant fiddle licks would enhance the line-up at Tom Browns. The band are currently booking UK tour dates in October 2026, and dates throughout 2027.
Alt-folk agitators Dryadic have built a reputation as one of the UK’s most compelling contemporary folk-roots bands, known for their rousing live shows, unapologetically feminist songwriting, and rich, string-led arrangements. Dryadic's distinctive sound and connected live show command the audience with tenacious singalong hooks delivered straight from the heart, backed by epic layered harmonies, raw energy, emotion, and charisma. Feel-good rhythms underpin candid, witty, and poignant lyrics. The band have toured extensively across the UK and Europe, appearing on stages including Glastonbury Avalon, Chai Wallahs, Brighton Pride, Hackney Empire, and Drayton Arms Theatre. They have supported Grace Petrie, O’Hooley & Tidow, Dervish, and Vandoliers, and McDonald has duetted live with Nadine Benjamin MBE.
